Freedom while pumping

I received the Medela collection cups to try as part of the Stellar Testing Panel.
These collection cups are awesome! It was great to finally have a second pair of collection cups for my Medela handsfree pump. I actually
like them better than cups that came with my Medela hands free pump! They are super discreet which has been amazing for pumping in the car on the way to appointments. I've also taken them on our recent family camping trip and was able to pump while sitting around the campfire with my family.

I love that they consist of only 3 pieces per collection cup to clean each time so that I'm spending less time cleaning and more time with my baby and family. They are slightly harder to open because of the o-ring but they feel so much more tightly sealed when they are put together.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hands free with ease

Thank you to the Stellar product testing panel I got to enjoy the new hands free collection cups and they did not disappoint. I did struggle to get a tight seal on them but I found they worked great and similar to other pumps I’ve used. I would highly recommend if you had multiple Children are are trying to keep up to the kids and pump with ease.
I love that they fit in my bra and are easy to clean. I also love I don’t need extra bags to put in them.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I received the Medela Hands-free Collection Cups through the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
I received the product shortly after my daughter was born and I feed her through a mix of breastfeeding and pumped bottled breast milk. I was so excited to receive this product as I do not enjoy pumping and thought this would improve the pumping experience.
What I like about the product:
- Easy enough to clean and put together
- Great to have in your purse if you are out and about and need to pump. During the summer our family does longer drives up to cottage country. The collection cups were great to use in the car to get some relief.

What I dislike about the product:
- the collection cups are quite large and won’t fit into all of my bras. You need to pre plan which bra you are going to wear if you plan on using it.
- I didn’t find the collection cups as effective as the pump’s original parts. I found that I wouldn’t use the cups at home since every time I pump I want to get the maximum amount of milk possible.

Overall I would rate this product 3 stars as I did not find it as effective as my pump’s original parts, however it was very convenient when out and about.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Gets the job done

I received these collection cups from stellar for free to test this product in exchange. I really like the cups and how the give much more versatility to bring hands free. I wish there would a smaller phalange size or that you could pick your own phalange size when ordering. Also I find the cups do fog up while pumping so you can’t overly see what’s going on in there most of the time anyhow. The cups have a snapping sound so you know that’s they’re sealed and you also do t have to take the prong out everytime to clean it. They stay connected to the breast decently well. The cups were decent enough to clean. I usually just throw them in the dishwasher. The cups stay connected fairly good while pumping as well so that you can still parent while pumping. Lol. Overall I’d recommend this to a friend.

Must have wearable!

These cups were way better than pumping into a bottle! The shape is well fitted and the silicone makes it really comfortable! I was able to wash dishes, play with my baby, brush my teeth and more while pumping on the go! Thanks to Stellar Panel Reviews, they were kind enough to allow me to test these out. I am truly grateful! These cups are really easy to assemble with only 3 parts! Assembly & cleaning is really important and the faster it is, the easier! The O-ring included does not even have to be removed; game changer! The Medela wearable cups are my favourite pumping accessory. I can't imagine myself without this anymore. It is all that I reach for. Highly recommend

Huge Time Saver

The Medela Hands-Free Collection Cups gave me so much freedom back! I use the Hands-Free Collection Cups with my Medela Freestyle Flex while I’m making dinner after work and it has allowed me to extend my breastfeeding journey.
These cups are very easy to clean because the opening is so wide you can really give them a good clean.
At first I tried to open it to pour the milk out but later tried the spout at the top to empty the milk and it is very easy to use.
I was given this breast pump accessory to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I received this breast pump accessory from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have used the original version and this revised version. I do prefer the original as it has fewer parts and opens and closes much easier. I’m not a fan of the new o ring. It seems like an unnecessary revision to make money as it needs to be replaced periodically. I am giving 4 stars because they do preform the same and are just as easy to clean. These cups have made my life tremendously easier as I can care for my child, cook, clean and work while wearing them.

Reviewing the Medela Hands-free Collection Cups

Overall, I am very satisfied with this product. They were very effective and extremely convenient. I am an exclusive pumper and therefore own two pumps. For my at home pumping I use my Medela freestyle flex and was using my S12 momcozy when needing to pump on the go.
I have a large oversupply and therefore pump multiple time a day. The momcozy would not empty me properly and therefore I had to travel with both pumping systems. I was given the Medela Hands-free Collection Cups breast pump accessory to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The new collection cups allowed me to feel confident that I was emptying my breasts as the momcozy were not sufficient (motor was not strong enough). I found the momcozy’s very loud and bulky (they are shaped like a bowl) and my Medela freestyle is much more discreet thanks to the quietness of the motor and the Hands-free Collection Cups shape (shaped like a breast) . I was actually able to pump during a work meeting without colleagues noticing. I would not have done this with my momcozy’s.
Due to my large supply, I would fill up the cups and therefore would ensure to stay seated upright. However I can see for someone with a smaller supply, the collection cups might allow you the bend forward a little and give you more flexibility to move around.
I found the Medela Hands-free Collection Cups much easier to clean and put together compared to the momcozy’s. The Medela Hands-free Collection Cups are much more forgiving than the momcozy’s when it comes to re assembly. I had multiple messes with the momcozy’s from not putting the pieces on perfectly right. I did not get any issues with the Medela Hands-free Collection Cups. I really appreciated how you did not need to remove the o-ring attachment at every cleaning session. There are in total only 3 pieces to clean which is amazing compared to my momcozy’s that has 5 pieces. I also loved how the Medela cups fit perfectly in my Advent microwave sterilizer and the plastic did not get affected by the heat of the microwave.
I do have to mention that I wish Medela had smaller flange sizes. With my Momcozy’s I was able to purchase size 17mm flanges however, Medela flanges only start at 21mm. Flange sizes are so important. I unfortunately was unable to always resort to the Medela collection cups because the large flange sizes would bruise my areola’s but for on the go discreet pumping a few (1-2) times a day these were fantastic!
I would definitely purchase these and recommend them to all of my pumping friends!
