Finally no more hanging bottles

I was given these Medela breast pump collection cups to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was so excited to try them as they are compatible with my existing medela freestyle pump, and is a nice upgrade to no longer need to worry about knocking over the bottle hanging from the hands free bra. I could actually clean up the house while pumping! The cups are comfortable to use and fit nicely in any nursing bra. The size is not as discreet for people with smaller breast, but that is expected and is okay as I mostly use it at home. The output is decent and in fact helps me produce a bit more than the old design, maybe because I could sit more relaxing and no longer have to bend slightly forward when pumping. They are quite easy to clean and assemble, which is crucial for me as I am not a fan of washing parts multiple times a day.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Breast pumping on the go and in comfort!

As a Mom of twins, my hands are literally full. I rely on having an efficient breast pump that will maximize my output (I have two little mouths to feed) in the shortest amount of time, while maintaining comfort and freedom to help my busy twins. The Medela hands-free collection cups does just that. The collection cups are discreet and can be easily placed into any bra that I am wearing and can begin pumping - even on the go! I've pumped while grocery shopping, at a wedding and even while driving across town.
Some of my favourite features of the collection cups include the comfort, ease of pour and of course being hands-free. The collection cups are comfortable and provide a clear transparent design so you can see how much milk you are collecting as well as, the placement of your nipple within the cups. This is a game changing design compared to many other hands-free breast pumps on the market. The collection cups were easy to clean only requiring 3 parts for cleaning and assembly making it quick to wash and fit inside my countertop sterilizer.
The collection cups can be used with the Medela Freestyle, Swing Maxi and Pump in Style which allows many people who already have these pumps to make them hand-free options instead of having to buy a whole separate breast pump. Saving money is important when having little ones!
Overall, the Medela hands-free collection cups are a great choice for Moms who don't have the time to sit and be strapped to a pump, Moms who are on the go and Moms who need their hands at all times (I think that's all Moms!). If you're looking for collection cups that are comfortable, discreet and will get the job done - these are you you! Thank you Medela for giving me my hands back!

Another great Medela product

This is the product I have been waiting for!
I was so excited to see these finally available and I haven’t stopped using them since I received them. I have been using them while at home and on the go. The suction is great and my output didn’t change compared to the parts the came standard with my Freestyle Flex. Each cup holds a mighty 250mL and pouring out the top hole is easy enough.
It was comfortable on my chest and I could bend forward to pick things up without spilling. When bending at a 90° angle it will begin to spill out the hole at the top if you have too much milk, so no handstands ahah! The O-ring definitely helps seal it. It was definitely comfortable enough to use with my little one on my hip or while playing with my older son. While these are not inconspicuous, their shape is natural enough to pump while driving without people starring.
When Laying flat on a table they are 7.5cm ish thick.
They are easy enough to clean by hand and put back together. But I loved just being able to throw in the dishwasher. The o-ring didn’t make much difference in terms of more work for cleaning them but a big difference in a sealing the cup from leaks.
Love them and wish I had them when I had my first son.

Two handed clap for a Hands-Free Experience

These Hands-Free Collection Cups are amazing. I have used another brands Hands-Free collection cups and I could not get them to stay put. They were klunky and didn't work well for me, however Medela's Hands-free Collection Cups are amazing! I prefer using it with my Medela Flex as it gives you more options without being typed down to a wall plug (I've done dishes, steam mopped my floors and even done a bit of laundry while pumping using the Flex in conjunction with the Hands-free Collection Cups) but I've also sat and used my Pump in Style along with the Hands-Free Collection Cups so that instead of sitting and holding everything while pumping I was able to scroll through my phone and relaxed while pumping. I think they are amazing and highly recommend (especially if you have multiple children and sitting down to pump seems like a daunting task). These have allowed me to keep moving, and with 3 kids that's all I do! Also, clean up and assemblely on these were so easy it was amazing.

Back in love with pump

I received this breast pump accessory from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I was so excited to use it. I was able to use it with my Medella pump in style, which I had been avoiding because it felt like so much work to set up. The option to use it hands free has helped me fall back in love with my pump. I love being able to be discreet while pumping in the room with friends and family and I LOVE how easy they are to clean after. I was even able to take them camping and now worry about losing tiny little membranes! I will definitely be recommending to friends and family who chose to pump.

Must have for Medela pump!

I was gifted these Medela collection cups to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
These are a must have if you use a Medela pump! I love the ease of use instead of having bottles hanging. They fit easily in your nursing bra, and you don't have to worry about knocking bottles while trying to do other tasks. I appreciate that I was able to play with my baby, and do some housework much easier with these. I wouldn't say they are completely hands free, as I did have to hold or attach my actual pump to myself to be officially hands free. Love how easy they are to assemble and clean. I was also impressed how much milk I was able to pump very quickly with total comfort. They are lightweight and fit perfectly on you, and into your bra. I do wish they were a bit wider though, as the squish you out a bit (assuming maybe an issue if you are larger like me), which would just be comfier if you were pumping outside of the home and trying to be discreet. Overall though, an absolute recommend for pumping moms!

Such an improvement over traditional pumping assem

The Medela Hands-free Collection Cups are such a big step up from the traditional pumping assembly that sit outside of your bra, and give me back some freedom while pumping! To start, you no longer need a special pumping bra and you're not stuck with the awkward barrier of collection bottles hanging in front of you with the possibility of being knocked.
Although I still found it easiest to sit while pumping (the weight of the pump I have itself is pretty heavy, so it's a bit awkward to move around with) I could still hold my baby, fold some laundry, eat or let's be real... scroll on my phone MUCH more comfortably than before.
I found the suction much better than the traditional assembly, and definitely more comfortable to wear. I found with the traditional flanges, if my pumping bra wasn't snug enough, it felt like the suction wasn't great - especially if I ever bumped the assembly. These also produced the same milk output, if not more, than the traditional assembly thanks to the better suction.
My one complaint is that I did find them a bit intimidating to get started with - the box said my pump was compatible, but only showed an image of the newer "Freestyle" pump I wasn't sure if I could use my pump at first (I could!). I also found the flange difficult to attach - it didn't feel like the smaller flange included "clicked" into place like it should, so I was concerned about leakage or an improper install. That being said, cleaning them is a breeze and I love that it's fewer parts - just 3 parts per cup (the flange, membrane and cup itself).
Overall, highly recommend over the traditional pumping assembly - so much less awkward, more comfortable, better suction and easier to clean! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with the cups to test and review!

Amazing

received this product through Stellar product testing panel.
I am a mom of 4 under 3. These cups have given me the ability to pump for my twins without having to cut out time with my other two. They work incredibly well and work efficiently to get the milk out in a small amount of time. I was able to take my kids to the splash pad, pool, park, zoo, aquarium and even a trip to visit extended family without it being noticed at all.
I used these alongside Medela Pump In style breastpump. The cups are extremely easy to disassemble and clean .
The only reason I'm rating it 4 stars is because I wish the collection cups had a bigger capacity. I understand not everyone feels that way but as an overproducer, it would be nice not to have to stop mid pump to empty.
