Best portable pump

Having the ability to get my toddler breakfast, brush my teeth, make a coffee while pumping has made my pumping journey that much easier.
I highly recommend this pump especially if your supply is already established.
I have drove home while pumping and the wearable pumps make it discreet and easy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Often doesn’t work

When this pump works it’s great, but after using it 3 times a day for months it is not as efficient and is extremely frustrating to get it to work. It’s like there is an issue getting a proper seal to get the right pressure. Not worth the price, although I see it’s gone down $100 since I bought it in July.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Used product was sent to me!

I was extremely excited to receive this product because I read so many good reviews. I’m a first time mom so purchasing this was a big deal. Anyway, when I received the package, I noticed that when I was opening the box there’s a sticker that says “ do not remove sticker” or something. But I noticed that there was a layer of clear sticker on top of that sticker. Basically someone had already opened the box. I continue to look inside and there was HAIR! At first I thought maybe it was my hair but it was in between the products! I was sooo disgusting. Also, the bottles that came with it, i noticed there was water marks! I was extremely upset! It was clearly used by someone else. Why would they resell this product to anyone??? It’s so unhygienic and expensive! I’m so disappointed.
I did end up exchanging this product at the best buy near my house with a brand new one. Thank god it was unused and seemed alright.

Good but not for long term

The pump itself pumps milk out, but I would recommend it as a portable pump, not as an effective, reliable, and long term pump. The big problem with it is that I experienced some times it can not empty my breast (I can feel lumps and see less volume than usual after 20+ min with massage), and I started worrying about supply. Luckyly I had a borrowed pump - the old model of Medela in style advanced - which was able to empty the lumps and maintain supply.
Pros: portability
Cons: no lock function for the touch buttons. Pump stopped functioning less than a year though was able to get replacement under warranty. Maintain supply issues.

Save your money

This pump system is far less effective than the other three pumps I have tried and much less reliable. Within three weeks of use, the pump stopped working. Bestbuy would not return the product as I had purchased over thirty days prior (to prepare for baby), however, Madela sent a new pump in about a week. In the meantime, as I had to continue to pump and was forced to buy yet another pump and chose to switch brands. I have been much more successful with the other brand of pump. I have tried using these pumps a few times again since the pump was replaced but still have no luck. I believe Madela must have sent a refurbished pump as the replacement is completely ineffective as well.

The plastic on the collector is kinda cheap. Madela must improve this. The pump itself works great.

Frustrating to use

It’s been almost 5 months of using this pump. The tubing broke on me in less than 4 months. The cups don’t remain secure which leads me to only pumping one side and having to do the other side separately. Having paid almost $400 with taxes, I don’t think I should be having these issues with a brand that hails itself as one of the top manufacturers of breast pumps.
