I'd buy a rechargeable battery pack instead.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You're definitely going to need a second battery pack and controller. The battery only charges when it's connected to a controller. So, if it were to die in the middle of a game, hopefully, you have battaries. The charge doesn't work if the controller isn't exactly in a specific placement. Even the slightest movement will turn it off. The final nail in the coffin for me is that it ONLY works with xbox series x/s controller. I have a 4 port charging battery pack set that works on older model controllers & the new series x/s. Other than that, it's a nice way to display your controller and charge it while not in use.
