Easy to install, poor app interface for adding family

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This packaging was flawless and way too easy to replace our current deadbolt lock. My husband timed us and it took 20 minutes. The iPhone app was easy to find and install. The app walked you through how to connect all the parts, but when it came to adding passwords and users, I think it missed the mark. It was super easy to connect to my google home, but it still asks you for a password out loud to lock the door once you ask google to lock the door. When I tried to use my Apple Watch, it worked seamlessly. Overall, a very lovely looking lock!

Disappointing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Yale Assure Lock 2 Touch with Wi-Fi - Satin Nickel free for testing purposes and my honest opinion. My partner helped me assemble it today. It honestly was a waste of time, and I could tell by the first time he complained that it was most likely defective. We found a review online where a customer had purchased the same lock from a store and had the same exact issue we had today back in 2020. They would up exchanging it at the store for a functioning one that was not defective and that one worked. Unfortunately, we got this one for free to test, and I would definitely not go out to purchase this product just to have one that works. I am disappointed in Influenster and Yale Assure for giving us defective products. That's my honest opinion. My partner is a very skilled mechanic and is incredibly technical. He did some tweaking and the lock still would not work automatically. It only worked manually. We never got a chance to use the electrical aspect of it because the box was missing those instructions. We decided to switch back our original padlock because this one is useless. It also feels very cheap inside. The lock itself is flimsy. I would highly not recommend this lock to anyone based on our experience.

Easy set up!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This came with user friendly installation. The video series was very informative and easy to follow. The packaging was easy to sort parts and pieces. Everything you need is included for instillation.
Ap was easy to set up. The finger print set up was a breeze. This is my personal favorite feature. I work nights, so getting in quick and fast gives me piece of mind. I had to wrestle with 2 locks and 2 keys before. And I always have so much stuff in my hands when I come home! I included a video of locking and unlocking with the finger print feature.
I love that you can invite guests so they can create their own code. We have 3 dogs and I have a hubby that travels a lot. It’s nice to be able to give each sitter their own code and access, and be able to remove them later on.
Overall it is a great smart lock. My only complaint is if you were going to use the ap to unlock the door, it does lag a little bit. At least on my end. It takes a little longer to pull up the ap, and for it to respond. As opposed to just using the code or fingerprint scanner.
It also includes a manual key incase the lock dies or doesn’t function properly for some reason.
10/10 recommend.

Easy Setup, Works Well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A handyman friend installed this for me and it took about 30 mins total. Super simple, clear instructions. There are also walkthrough instructions & a video on the Yale access app to follow during setup. I love that this is battery powered, no direct wiring. Setup was a breeze, I added a code and my fingerprint and invited my husband to the app as well to get setup. I live that it also has a physical key as a backup. One key is provided, but you can get copies cut as an option. The satin nickel is really attractive. I’m getting new knobs to match and ordering another unit for our back door! I really love the remote options, the PIN code which you can share with family members, friends, if you’re out of town etc. I think this will be really useful and it’s a great addition to our home. Love this!!

Safety with ease

We can let in guests when we’re not there and our app allows us to ensure our house is locked even if we forgot. Definitely recommend! Easy to install also!
