I’ll give the pros and the cons of this a/c
We own an LG portable a/c as well and love it it has a much longer vent hose.

pros: easy set up out of the box
Comes with remote, foam tape, manual, hose & installation for window
Has the cool, fan and dehumidify
Motorized louver, on casters
Very quiet, airflow is great, 3-speed fan, blows cold

Cons: the hose that comes with the a/c is max 5’ long, if your windows are high you are going to run into a huge problem. The unit is meant to be placed almost against the wall or up on a stand. The hose will come off the unit if it is pulled too far away from the window. The hose runs very hot in the current heatwave
If there were a way to extend the hose so not to have a placement issue it would bump my review as the actual unit is quality and works well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Keeps us comfortable

We have our A/C on the main floor, which is an open plan (approx 1200sqft) this A/C specifically, is able to keep the whole floor at a comfortable temp. Not ice cold, but definitely cool. We are very happy with it. It's so easy to use as well. The remote comes in handy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

- vent does not oscillate
- attachments are ALL rink-y-dink
- neither end of the hose has the ability to securely clamp properly
- both ends hang on with a whisper and a prayer
- forget the lock/unlock option. It too hangs on a whisper
- the accordion hose is way...way...too short
- somewhat noisier than expected but the "arctic" setting makes is bearable
- unless you have EXACTLY the window casements shown you may need to create alternative ideas to set up
- I checked neighbours and how they've done workarounds...most have "devised" venting options on a variety of non-Pinguino units
- notice the setup video for the patio door option? It does not show you all the way to the top. Why?
- because the sliders are not long enough...hence the door allows insects and/or rodents free access in and out
- why aren't proper clamps provided for both ends to the accordion hose?
- why is the lock/unlock step so loose? Look at it sideways and it falls off
- why isn't the oval vent attachment fitted with a secure end?
- the A/C keeps my 520sq feet home cool but again with non-stop venting issues
I suggest doing a lot of research to find a unit that doesn't have such flimsy attachments

Cooled okay, exhaust tube is too short

Needed to prop it on a table to have it work with my windows. Exhaust tube was super hot as well. Returned it for a window unit the next day.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought one 4 yrs ago and it work great and perfect then I bought another one this yr 2024 make two products one i living in room another one in bedroom the whole house is perfectly cool.
I would recommend this to a friend!
