[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No manual included, and installation was very unclear. Once I got it figured out it works like a dream!

Was excited to get this to add to riding mower purchased a couple years ago. However quickly found that the attachment hooks were installed incorrectly (bottom one and top one which are different connectors were swapped). After contacting customer care for assistance, I was instructed to use a bit and fix it myself. Well, the screws have a particular bit, so I am now expected to purchase that and correct something that should have been caught with quality control.

The tube leading to the bagging unit is extremely too long. The grass is only deposited into the for left bag. As the grass is trapped in the feeder tube to the bag because of this design flaw. One size does not fit all. The air flow is constricted causing a back up and if I can even travel 20 feet before if is completely blocked. I find this completely worthless.

Hello Ralph 1369. Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback regarding your Greenworks riding mower bagging system. We understand how frustrating clogging and uneven bag filling can be during operation. When grass is only collecting in one bag or backing up in the chute, it is often related to airflow restrictions within the system. To help improve performance, we recommend ensuring the chute is fully seated and properly aligned, as even a slight misalignment can disrupt airflow. It is also important to mow under dry conditions, since damp or wet grass is more likely to clump and cause blockages, particularly in longer chute designs. If the tube appears prone to buildup, periodically stopping to clear any compacted debris can help maintain consistent flow. Additionally, raising the deck height slightly and reducing ground speed can improve discharge efficiency and reduce the likelihood of clogging. Making sure the blades are sharp and the underside of the deck is clean will also support proper airflow through the system. If the issue continues, we recommend reaching out to support with your mower model details so we can help review compatibility and explore possible solutions. They can be reached either using the online chat function, on Greenworks Tools page, or by calling 1-888-909-6757.
