Long Cable for Convenient Charging at Home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Influencer and Schumacher in exchange for my review. This Level 2 EV charger from Schumacher allows for convenient charging at home with up to 50 Amps of power. The fact that this charger is plugged into any NEMA 14-50 outlet means that it can be taken with you to a new location should you change residences. The design of the charger is simple and compact and you can dock the charging gun on either the right or left side. There is an extra long charging cable so you have some flexibility with how you park to charge. For Tesla owners you can use an adapter and the dock is set up so you can keep the Tesla adapter on for storage when the car is not charging. Overall this charger is simple to set up and mount onto the wall. Best of all is the ability to have the convenience of easily charging your electric vehicle at home!

Slim design with 25 ft cable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This electric vehicle charger is very futuristic and modern looking. It makes me feel like I'm doing some good. The cool LED lights don't hurt anything either. I personally decided to install it in the garage because of electric wiring placement and that it will be sheltered from the elements, but this can be installed outside if you need which is pretty neat! Although I probably could have installed the unit myself, I opted to get a professional so I didn't burn my house down. They provided good, detailed instructions. The unit does not take up alot of space in the garage which is really nice. The 25 ft cable is a game changer - park your car whenever or however you want and it's likely to reach. You can also dock the charging gun on either side of the unit. The app is pretty basic but it does what I need it to. Would be nice if a Tesla adapter was included.

Save time and money

It charges my car much faster than the Level 1 charger that came with the car. It took me about 4 hours to fully charge my car from 20% to 100% with this charger, compared to 12 hours with the Level 1 charger. The installation was easy, I just plugged it into a NEMA 14-50 outlet that I had in my garage. The charger has a configurable current that can be adjusted during installation to match your home’s power system. I set mine to 40 amps, which is the maximum for plug-in use. If you hardwire it, you can get up to 50 amps of power.
The charger has a sleek and low-profile design that doesn’t take up much space in my garage. It also has a built-in cord management system with a flexible cable cradle that keeps the cord neat and tidy. The charging gun is lockable and ergonomic, and it fits securely into my car’s charging port. The charger also comes with an interchangeable dock that lets you store the charging gun on either side of the unit, depending on your preference.
One of the best features of this charger is the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connectivity that allows me to monitor the charging status from my smartphone using the SchuPower app. The app is very user-friendly and intuitive, and it shows me how much energy I have used, how long it will take to finish charging, and how much money I have saved by using this charger. I can also schedule the charging time, set reminders, and get notifications from the app. The charger also has LED indicators that show me the power and Wi-Fi status.
The charger is very durable and weather-resistant, so I can use it indoors or outdoors without any problems. It has a rating of IP66 enclosure/3R raintight, which means it can withstand dust, water, and extreme temperatures. I have used it in rain and snow, and it worked perfectly fine.

Fast charging

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This electric car charger works as good as the one I have at work. It charges fast and can be controlled by an app. The installation needs to be done by an electrician not just plug in as it has a different voltage.
