Convenient!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This EV charger is much nicer than expected and so convenient! The packaging contains a QR code to schedule installation, though hiring an independent electrician is also an option. The instruction pamphlet also provides a detailed outline of installation instructions for those that are handier. That is definitelynot us so we hired an electrician to complete the installation. Charging is easy, fairly quick, and so much more convenient!

Almost perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own a 2023 Audi Q4 Etron. Perfect timing to receive this product as we just had an EV charger installed in our garage, but it only went up to 40amps so the Schumacher was a bit of a bonus.
Pros: does what it says and is a great level 2 charger. Slimmer design than most wall chargers- I appreciate the option for a plug or hardwired model. Cons: the app is confusing or just not as useful as our previous ChargePoint EV charger app that allows you to time your charges, select the level of charging, and start/stop charging remotely. The Schumacher app is pretty useless to us since the Audi app already provides the info that Schumacher app provides which from what I can gather is just for you to see how long the car has been charging and at what amp. Everything else you need to physically do on the unit itself which seems odd that they are behind the times with a new product and name like Schumacher. Last con is the the length of the cord for the unit to plug-in (as opposed to hardwired version) It’s literally like 5 inches…. We had to hire someone to install it to hang on the wall so it’s closer to the plug- now it’s a bit of a reach on my tippy toes to grab and dock the charger compared to our former unit.
We will keep it for now and hope the app gets better updates or trade in if they hop on the remote/wifi wagon.

No fuss installation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that it does the job but doesn't take up much space. Installation was straight forward. You can set the charge rate. The app is user friendly with Bluetooth connection. It comes with a long thick cable. Its waterproof so it's good for outside use. Charged my car fine.

Awesome EV Charger

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the third EV charger I’ve tried at home. The first was a bust (Emporia) and wouldn’t charge my EV. This does EXACTLY what I want it to do. This one charges on demand and the application keeps track of what I’m doing. Biggest difference I have noticed is the charging cord is thicker and more sturdy than other chargers I’ve tried. Currently using outdoors. The app should update prior to scheduling. Highly recommend and SO HAPPY I have this EV charger in my home

Fast charge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Schumacher level 2 EV wall charger arrived in good condition, had easy to follow instructions which made the installation process smooth and quick. I was able to install it myself in a couple of hours and this doesn't take up much space in my garage. The app is pretty general which provides just basic controls, however didn't integrate with Alexa. This is a good quality product which makes the charging of my EV super fast; furthermore, like the fact that it has a place to wrap and store the long charging cable without it hanging loose.

Its has weight to it, demonstrating durability. It lights up showing the charging status and has button release. Everything you need in one device.

Great EV charger

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great quality and fast EV charger. We had to have an electrician come out to install it. I like the long cable and the ease of use. It has a slim profile and cable can be neatly wrapped underneath when not in use. App is basic but works well. I only wish it came with a Tesla adapter instead of being sold separately. Definitely recommend if you have an electric vehicle.
