So Quiet!

Very pleased with the dishwasher. Can't believe how quiet it is compared to our old one. Dishes are definitely cleaner. Like any new product, it takes a while to learn how to load it. The silverware container was my biggest challenge, but have learned how to place my flatware in the appropriate slots.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've had this machine for about a month and am well pleased with it's performance. I am using the recommended detergent and rinse aid, and dishes come out very clean. It is also amazingly quiet. As with all eco-friendly washers these days, cycle times are very long, but since it is so quiet, that's not a problem for me.My one criticism is the silverware basket that is designed to fit either on the door, or on/in the lower rack. It fails on a number of counts. First, the slots you are supposed to insert your silverware in are not big enough for most handles, then, when you flip the slot panels up -as instructed - silverware can slip sideways into the bottom of the basket. Second, when placed on the door, any long handled items collide with the soap dispenser. Third, when placed on the front of the lower rack, the basket merely rests on a couple of pegs and comes off easily. So, my solution was to remove the slots panels, modify the partitions inside the basket, and place it inside the lower rack. That seems to work fine. I am left wondering, however, if Whirlpool user-tested this silverware basket at all.All in all, this is a good dishwasher, and despite the silverware issue, I would still recommend it.

Really quiet and does a great cleaning job

We ordered the first dishwasher and unfortunately it came in damaged. Whirlpool was very quick to get us a replacement. The machine is different, not difficult, to load than our previous Fridgidaire model, but we are getting used to it. It cleans fantastically and have put it through some baked on messes. It is quiet and feature rich. We are very satisfied and recommend it.

We love this dishwasher. It is so quiet we sometimes do not even realize it is running. We rarely use the delay feature because it is so quiet. Once you get used to it and figure out the best way to load it, this dishwasher holds a lot of dishes. The dishes come out very clean.There are only two things I'd improve. First, the power scour feature could be better. If you have really caked on or burned food you will need to rinse the pot or pan very good before putting it in dishwasher. At that point you might just go ahead and wash it. Secondly, I don't really like the utensil holder on the door (even though it gives you more room for dishes). It seems like it keeps the utensils from always getting as clean as they could.Otherwise, this dishwasher works very well. I would definitely recommend it to others.

I love my new dishwasher. The first one i have owned with a stainless steel tub.I can't tell that it is on, it's so quiet. Some of the wash cycles are long but it has a cycle for 1hour and that does the trick.
