Good value for price

We purchased this dishwasher as an upgrade to a slightly older and more basic Whirlpool model two months ago. Overall we are very happy with it's design and performance. Most washes all of the dishes are super clean. It seems to be very efficient and is much quieter than our old dishwasher.The deep tub and variety of washing options are a definite plus, though it's taken some time to learn to stack everything just right in order to make sure every single dish gets perfectly clean, especially when using 'sensor wash'.I would definitely recommend this model.

Installed the WDF775 Jan. '13 (had it 9 weeks now) -- so far, I really like it. Don't forget to buy a rinse aid -- it's a must! Otherwise glasses & dishes won't dry and the inside of tub stays damp. Holds a lot more than my old unit (14 year old GE). Very roomy on the inside - distance between top shelf & top of unit is great - able it hold taller glasses or large plastic cups. Same with bottom shelf. Not sure if I like the silverware in the door yet, but am able to move the rack very easily to the bottom shelf and it's narrow enough to not waste a lot of space. It was a little pricier than other models but so far, seems worth it. Oh - and it's nice looking and quiet too.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This dishwasher quietly does what it's supposed to do: clean

So far I am very happy with the design and performance of this dishwasher. I'm a light sleeper, and although I sleep within 20 feet of the machine, it does not wake me up. I was pleasantly surprised by this, since my last dishwasher, which was far more expensive, sounded like a superhighway was in my kitchen! Sometimes, you don't have to spend top dollar to get a quality product that is made in America! My refrigerator (which I've owned for 14 years and is still going strong) and so far, this dishwasher, are a testament to this fact.

We Love Our Dishwasher

We have never had a dishwasher before and are loving this one. Easy to use, cleans the dishes wonderfully and is very quiet. We love all the wash options and the way the racks can be adjusted as well.

Very quiet but has one flaw

I love how quiet this dishwasher is. It is so quiet you hardly hear it running and it does a good job cleaning the dishes with the exception of the silverware. The silverware basket is a terrible design. It's meant to conserve space but I would rather give up a little space and have my silverware clean every time. The basket is too narrow and the silverware is too crowded and on occasion some of the silverware isn't clean. Yuck! My last dishwasher was a Kenmore (made by Whirlpool) and had a silverware basket along the side of the bottom rack, which was wider and a much better design.

Kicking myself for not checking the search terms on Google to find out why people would be searching "Whirlpool Quiet Partner iv". Really should have beforehand because the top results are, "troubleshooting", "doesn't clean", and "how to fix".Poorly designed. Doesn't clean. Uses cheap, cheap, cheap parts.I doubt I'll buy another product affiliated with Whirlpool.

This dishwasher is a prime example of plastic parts everywhere. All plastic breaks easily, is a big piece of junk. Don't buy it!

Great Dishwasher

I have had the dishwasher 2 months. It has several features I like including 1-hour wash when I'm in a hurry and more room. Also my plastic items do not turn over and fill up with water during the cycle. It is very quiet.
