My wife and I purchased this dishwasher last month to replace our Kitchenaide unit and we are so glad we did. The unit works great and is extremely quite.

Quiet! the one hour cycle gets everything clean - including pots and baking dishes with light amounts of baked on food. I would like moredish racks on the bottom - my old appliance held more plates.

This is the best dishwasher I've ever had for sure.At first, I was very turned off by the door-mounted silverware rack, but that actually is really nice, as you have much more room in the dish area. You can also mount the rack on little holders that are clipped onto the lower rack, or just put it into the lower rack in a spot that's open for it. With it attached to the door or on the rack holder (which are the two positions where you have the most room for dishes in the lower rack), a few larger pieces of food usually get caught between the silverware rack and the door, but the silverware is clean. The biggest complaint I have is the silverware rack has large holes between compartments, so smaller silverware frequently can fall and lay flat at the bottom of the rack. Since it's so small, it's a real pain to reach my fingers in and try to get it back out. There are fold-down flaps on the rack that you can place silverware into, but the holes are rather small so a lot of silverware just doesn't fit into the holes. But other than that, the dishwasher is a dream. It has an adjustable upper rack (you do have to pull it completely off the track, then put it back on the track at a different position, which is a bit harder than some other models where you just click it up or down). It has a lower, middle, and upper wash arm. It has the "power scour" washing spray at the back. It is super quiet, and it's really large. The racks are very easy to slide in and out. And the top rack has each row angled perfectly so everything is not facing down, but facing the washer arm - so glasses/cups and stuff get very clean. One of the very best features is how easy it is to clean - it has a screen filter that is super easy to pull out and wash in the sink. I can't stress how great this is - all dishwashers have some kind of screen, and if you can't easily clean it, you'll have dirty dishes. Also, something that few people will probably realize, but I noticed while installing the dishwasher, the drain hose isn't in the typical arrangement of going straight out of the drain pump right to your sink drain pipe; it actually has a hose that first is looped up the side of the dishwasher and back down, and then connects to the hose you run to the sink drain pipe. This is brilliant - because on a normal dishwasher the drain hose places a lot of hose on the dishwasher side "downhill" of the highest point in line, so some of that water will drain back into the dishwasher - the drain pump can't fully get rid of all of it. But on this dishwasher, there is very, very little hose between the drain pump and that high point on the hose that loops up the side of the dishwasher - so there is very little water that will run back into the dishwasher - meaning the drain pump can get almost all the water out of the dishwasher, which keeps the water as clean as possible. Also, the features are awesome - "power scour" really does get a pretty dirty large pot/pan very clean, the "sensor" clean cycle works great, and the "overnight" cycle is wonderful for after-dinner cleaning. The one cycle I would have liked to see is a "rinse and hold" cycle to just do a quick rinse of a few dishes, so you can add more later and do a full cycle. There's nothing to do that, but you can just start a normal cycle, and then after a few minutes of washing press "Cancel".All in all, this is a wonderful, super quiet, very well designed dishwasher, that will get your dishes cleaner than any other dishwasher you ever had. Get it.

Average features but as much as I need . It does a terrific job of getting my pots and dishes clean.Personally I don't like the utensil tray in the door and you can't adjust any of the racks to accommodate different sizes. However, I'm doing fine as it is as long as I don't put any long utensils in front of the soap dispenser. It's an average featured unit that cleans your dishes really well.

Had a 2 year old dishwasher that stopped working. Purchased this Whirlpool after reading several reviews and couldn't be happier. Dishes are super clean and the stainless steel tub makes a huge difference. Very quiet while running. Large and well thought out interior makes it easy to add a few more dishes! Highly recommended.

Best dishwasher I've ever owned

This dishwasher is the best that I've ever owned. It is so quiet I have to listen intently to know that it is running. The dishes come out clean and dry every time. Controls are simple and intuitive. Height adjustment on the top rack is relatively easy. We like the optional placement of the silverware basket in either the rack or attached to the door to make more room. Love the stainless steel construction ! The unit is on the high end for price, but is a value for what you get.
