waste of time and money

I have tried everything to get my dishes clean. Awesome rinse and cascade platinum. I have to "wash" the dishes first before I run the machine for 80+ minutes and they still come out filmed. No wonder it's discontinued. I should have returned it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this a couple months ago to replace a Kenmore Dishwasher that no longer cleaned the dishes.

This dishwasher (Whirlpool Gold with Quite Partner lIV sound package) is very good. It cleans perfectly and above all it is very, very quiet.You can actually sit in the same room when it is running and not know for sure if it is working. It is that quiet !To top it off it is Energy Star rated. I received a $50.00 rebate from my utility company for purchasing this product.I would recommend it to anyone.

Great product

I purchased and installed this dishwasher about 2 months ago. It is so quiet I had to look at the indicator panel to see if the dishwasher was operating. Dishes come out nice and clean every time. I'm very happy with this product.

Moved into our new house on August 28. This dishwasher gets a workout every day and never disappoints with its cleaning

I love Whirlpool dishwashers. I had my previous one for 16 years and never had one problem with it. I hope this one is just as good. The controls are easy to understand and I love the fact that I can fit all my dishes and pots and pans in the washer. My only problem is the silverware basket. I can't get my silverware through those holes in the basket since the handle part of the forks, spoons, etc does not fit through the hole. This is the only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5.
