Time and money saver

This dryer performs extremely well. It holds a huge load and has settings that will ensure the shortest drying time for the particular fabrics. Loads dry quickly which is a huge time saver and money saver as our electric bills will go down. The door opens down so that clothes never end up on the floor, and it runs quietly.

Great Dryer at a Great Price

I have owned my Whirlpool WED4900XW2 Electric Dryer with AccuDry?? for over a month now and am completely satisfied with my purchase. Simple, easy to use and dries clothes perfectly either times or when using the sensors.

What I thought was a 'basic' model has features beyond my expectations. I especially like the Wrinkle Sheild feature, saves me from my life revolving around laundry that may wrinkle! The unit is quiet and dries quickly, so that the laundry is not 'backed up' from the washer if it's 'laundry day'. Kudos!

Our new electric dryer as all the features I need in a dryer. I would highly recommend Whirlpool as a brand. I cannot fairly comment on quality as it relates to longevity since we have had the dryer for less than 6 months. But I am happy with all aspects of it so far.

We chose this product after doing much comparison shopping. When using a simple cost-benfit analysis this product came up the winner. It has all the features we were looking for, quality construction, and an excellent warranty. We have been very satisfied with our purchase and would recommend this product proudly.

Surprisingly great so far!

I'll admit I'm not a Whirlpool fan, but this dryer so far has been very good. It doesn't get as hot as my former Kenmore (REAL Kenmore--not Whirlpool Kenmore) dryer. But being that my old Kenmore died at age 25, the newer heating standards might have changed.I picked this Whirlpool because of the hamper door which opens downward instead of to the side. I can't imagine having a dryer door that I couldn't use to temporarily place or sort dry clothes on top of.An added bonus is that the shoe drying rack from my former Kenmore (also had a hamper door) fits this Whirlpool model! The Whirlpool motor is very quiet, but the buzzer isn't loud enough for me to hear upstairs. It really beats my Whirlpool washer with the dual agitator that rips my towels apart (and yes, the water level is high enough). So considering my bad luck with Whirlpool refrigerators and washers, I am pleasantly surprised with this dryer.
