Nice Dryer

This dryer is easy to use and has great features. I really like being able to choose the timed dry or the automatic sensing function. Most of the time I use the energy efficient mode and it works pretty well. Sometimes when there are more bulky items, like jeans or socks, they will not be all the way dry, though usually they are dry enough that I don't worry about it. I expect that when my family gets big enough to have enough laundry to to be able to separate loads by how bulky they are, that this particular issue will go away. I also like how many loads only take around 30 minutes to dry. Some people may think that this dryer is too loud, but since we keep ours in the garage, I appreciate being able to hear the buzzer in the house. Overall, I am very happy with this dryer.

I LOVE MY NEW DRYER! IT IS EASY TO USE, HAS WONDERFUL FEATURES, AND IS PERFECT FOR EACH TYPE OF FABRIC I WANT TO DRY. I LIKE THE BUZZER AT THE END OF THE CYCLE, AND THE FACT THAT IT CONTINUES TO BUZZ EVERY FEW MINUTES TO REMIND ME TO TAKE THE CLOTHES OUT.

Don't remember the details anymore, but do recall that this was the best value in a dryer. Not disappointed in its performance, though I wish it had side vent option.

accu-dry system

This dryer has great features, but the dryer I have takes a very long time to dry a load of clothes.....1 3/4 hours on medium setting. This is way too long to suit me. I called the Whirlpool customer service line and was told that that was a reasonable length of time for drying. I have started washing small loads of clothes( using more water)..but am not at all happy with the length of drying time. Is it the accu-dry ( which I have stopped using) or is there something inadequate with the heating system???? We bought Whirlpool on the basis of its name and previous reliability,, so my review is not at all a positive one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love my dryer. Great energy efficiency setting. I have never had to rerun clothes because they were always dry when the cycle was complete.

A quality appliance, affordably priced. DIY set-up is a breeze !! Easy lint cleaning, clothes loading & removal. Very quiet operation, with exception of a little noise from the clothing fasteners against the drum. Wrinkle-free tumble option is outstanding !! Clothing dries soft & wrinkle free on appropriate settings... An all around great value !!

I try to not use high heat when drying my clothes to reduce wear and tear. My new Whirlpool dryer still has a load dry in about 30-40 min. depending on the type of load (jeans vs. permanent press). Very satisfied with this purchase.
