Excellent bike, outstanding customer service

Originally purchased the Ranger 1000. I was buying a bike to help me get deeper into the backcountry of the Blue and Cascade Mountains in eastern and central WA. My plan was to bike in as far as trails/roads would allow and then hike from there. The Ranger wouldn’t cut it for the hills I was climbing, the motor would cut out and I would get an error code. Contacted customer service and they quickly shipped me a new bike! Pretty incredible customer service. Had the same issue with the second bike, so I again emailed customer service. I was very frustrated and disappointed. Ivy from customer service called me within 24 hours. She was super friendly and helpful. I purchased an Apex Pro through her, and they gave me a complete refund for the Ranger, after I returned it!
The Apex Pro is a beast! I have been scouting and bear hunting the last few weeks - each trip completing 10-15 miles and climbing 2000 feet plus of elevation. I have only used the bike in VPO “class 2”, and usually in eco mode. There is not a hill it won’t climb. I can not say enough about the quality of the Apex and the impressive customer service at QuietKat.
If you are traveling flat ground or hills but not pushing it, the Ranger is a great choice but if you are a serious backcountry hunter and plan on punishing your bike - get the Apex Pro, you will not be disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing that you realize that this is a big heavy well-made bike. When compared to my father’s 2023 Ranger, you can see the difference. I was a little surprised to see the same SRAM X-4 shifter, derailer and same TekTRO hydraulic breaks on both bikes. The front air forks are definitely an upgrade. So far my overall experience has been very positive. I can’t wait to get the APS out during bow hunting season and knowing that I won’t be sweating on the long walk to the stand!

Access from Anywhere

Love the flexibility of being able to access my deer woods from just about any direction based on wind conditions. I'm able to park and access from a half mile to a mile away from my stands and get there quick, easy and most importantly quietly!! No more of those long walks which only make you hot and sweaty which only turns to being cold during the freezing winter months.

A High Quality Monster

Bought the Apex Sport for remote hunting, fishing, and camping. Purchased the bike instead of an ATV or UTV because it can access where others are not allowed. It does not need a road. Fast and deadly quiet. Easy assemble. Very rugged. Materials, fitments of parts, welding, all appear to be high quality. VPO + the 4 power output classes allows full control of the electrical assist/throttle. 6' 200lbs, selected Large. This thing is a beast. Powerful. Happy with purchase. Awesome customer service.
Recommended improvements: display is too bright for nightfall; blinding your night vision. Will buy a screen dimming filter and some kind of edge protection from physical impact to the display.
Be prepared to purchase accessories if you intent on backwood use. I have purchased the solar array and side bags, head light. Will purchase the spring seat, game trailer, mud fenders, cell phone holder, puncture-proof tire liners.
