Very happy with my Leger

There is no better luggage product than Tumi. I travel internationally fairly frequently and wanted a suitcase that would help me organize clothing for different kinds of weather and activities. I love the way the Leger has the advantage of soft-side luggage (squeezing into the bins on the plane) while offering the advantage of the clamshell opening to help separate and organize clothing. I haven’t tried using it on smaller European regional carriers and I’m hoping it will satisfy their space requirements because it is a bit bigger than some regulations. It is about an inch smaller in depth than my Travelpro bag and a liter less in volume (Travelpro can carry even more when expanded but it then doesn’t qualify as a carry-on for most carriers).

Lightweight but doesn’t seem durable

Returned it. Seems more like samsonite than Tumi. It’s light weight and well made but the Fabric is thin doesn’t seem that durable. If you need light weight and you’ll never check this bag it could be perfect for u. Bought an Alpha X bag instead.

A Keeper

I thought my 'rolling, soft sided, whales of luggage (2) were adequate. Long story short, cousin says 'why schlepp'? I have traveled 2 times with my beautiful hard shell and with a gentle touch we glided through airports.
Ladies, consider trying out a Tumi bag...ya won't schlepp.

This carryon does exactly what I need it to do. I have space for up to 2 weeks worth of clothes, some work material. The handle is pretty heavy duty and the wheels spin easily. The overall empty weight is light, which is great!

The wheels tilt to the right. I packed it different way hoping it’ll work since I loved the light way material but it was impossible to make it work. Accident waiting to happen

I have used Tumi luggage for almost 25 years, and have always found the luggage, briefcase, backpacks, really all items to be my go to for travel, and I travel quite a bit. This piece is lovely, light and and matches an existing piece. Nice job Tumi!
