Customer Reviews for ASUS - ProArt Studiobook 16" OLED Touch Laptop - Intel 13 Gen Core i9 with 64GM RAM - NVIDIA RTX 3000 Ada - 2TB SSD - Mineral Black
When I buy a laptop I buy one that is top of the line so that I do not have to buy another for many years. The specs on this machine are amazing: graphics, processor and a touch screen! The art knob is interesting and though I haven't found it particularly useful, that's because I haven't really tried to integrate it into my workflow yet. It's a fast and powerful machine and I've had no problems with its performance as a computer.
I've been able to run Photoshop, and stream it to others watching, with absolutely massive files without any noticeable effect on performance.
It runs quiet. The fan is imperceptible.
The audio is amazing for a laptop. It is not tinny at all. The first time I heard music on the laptop I wasn't sure how audio so clear was possible.
Cons:
I wish the knob had better programming options, for example: keyboard shortcuts and text macros would be amazing. As it currently is, you can't program a text macro to the knob. For as innovative as it is, its functions are frustratingly limited.
My only other complaints are minor things that should have been caught in development and relate largely to the keyboard layout:
You have to hit FN+Function key to access function keys (e.g. FN+F5 to refresh a page, FN+F2 to rename a file) instead of the original functions being default.
The Right Click key is conjoined with a very wide control key (three keys wide) on the bottom right and only accessible by using the FN+Control. There's no reason this could not have been two unique keys.
The Home and End keys are hidden behind the 7 and 1 on the number pad, respectively. If you do any word processing or data entry, this can be frustrating as the only way to highlight text while using one of these keys is to use both shift keys (far left and far right) simultaneously, one shift to access the home or end function and then the other shift for actually highlighting the desired text. It's easier to use the mouse to highlight text and as someone who rarely uses my mouse if I can help it, it's taken some getting used to.
The general lack of consideration for what keys and functions people actually use while including generally useless keys that are rarely clicked like a "launch pro creator hub" key or the 3-key-wide control key while also not having any way to remap keys on the keyboard is poor design. A built-in key mapping function or program would solve this.
But it is impressive that these few issues are the only issues with this laptop.
I would recommend this to a friend!

ASUS considered all spectrums of the consumer from the content creator to those in other industries. I desired a laptop that was not only powerful but also ISV Certified such as having a laptop that has an option of a consumer graphics card or a workstation graphics card. I require a workstation graphics card to ensure optimal compatibility with Autodesk applications such as Civil3D, which operates extremely well on this laptop. I appreciate the keyboard being identical to an actual keyboard as opposed to a squeezed edition found on other laptops. I was able to easily add an additional 2TB SSD making this laptop more useful for my needs. This laptop is well priced compared to others and offers so much more. The OLED is just another bonus. Although I am not a content creator, I couldn't have been more pleased to purchase this laptop having solved my engineering and software programming needs while also having the ability to optimally work with content creation software as well. After much research elsewhere, this laptop is certainly the one that ranks above all others.

Very happy. Oled display is gorgeous. Fast machine, handles bulk photo editing in lightroom with no problem. Dial is more useful than I expected. Being able to use pen on touch pad is also more useful than expected. Surprisingly great sound. Expandable sdd slot.
Have been using 3 weeks for 4 to 5 hours every day. No problems. Only complaint is that the numeric keypad takes getting used to. Keys like +×÷ and end/home aren't where I expect. Oh, the initial setup took longer than expected. Lots of updates.
