Big Mistake

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have depended on Whirlpool products for over 50 years, but this is the worst we have ever encountered. I doubt that it is insulated as it heats up the kitchen and exhausts hot air straight out into the room rather than deflecting it upwards. The "controls" are cumbersome and time-consuming, and whoever decided it was not necessary to have a small red light come on to indicate it is on needs to spend time in a real kitchen where people cook real food. One positive is that it the interior lights are very bright and clear.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Oven is great, but interface is bad.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oven is great, but interface is bad. The interior space is much greater than the previous double oven we had in the same hole. it heats up faster than the old one. One aspect I like about the oven is it messages me when the oven is up to temperature, so I know when the wife is cooking at home and that I need to get home soon. The interface is capacitive touch, that once you open the door and steam comes out, the touch doesn't work. There is no button to just turn it off, you have to use the menu, and even then, I'm not sure it's actually off. The alarm is not loud enough to hear from another room, which may be good or bad depending on your situation. With more time, I'm sure we'll eventually get use to the interface.

Nice oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall we are very happy with our double wall oven, good size, bright oven light, cooks well, sleek contemporary design. Heat from the upper oven will sometimes affect the LED display when the door is opened and the audible timer signal is too short and not loud enough to hear unless you are in the kitchen even with the volume set to the loudest setting. Our last oven had a tone that played 5 short beeps that you could hear anywhere in the house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had my oven installed on February 8th. Love it now that I called for manual on how to operate it. I can’t understand why an owners manual is not provided. I had a conventional oven before so converting to a convection oven was not easy. But now I love it.
