My roommate put my 'Chipolo ONE Point' in his golf bag when traveling to New England. Among other locations the Chipolo tracked his movement thru an 18-hole golf course. It also triggered an alert notification on his friends' iPhones that the Chipolo ONE Point tracking device was nearby as a safety anti-stalking measure.

If the technology seems as promising as Apple's AirTags, it is definitely not.
The connection with the chipolo is sometimes lost. I had to proceed to a factory reset to get it back up (thank to the Support Team). However, the Find My Device app is quite inaccurate, and regurlaly shows me the loaction the device had 8 hours. Not very helpful. I don't what is to blame (Chipolo or the buggy Google App), but it is neither a sastifying nor seamless user experience.

Lacking coverage for devices limits the location being updated. This is a android issue and not chipotle but sad for this device

Very easy to get started and to setup the chipolo.
The only problem is, that they can't handle water. Even though they got extended time to fully dry, I was unable to connect the it again.

Device itself is good, unfortunately google's location sharing system is not good as (by default) as Apple's. Better than nothing though.
Chipolo's device naming should be better, it's confusing.
