Very easy pairing, easy use. Relying on Google's application, which is new and need to be improved. The tag doesn't play 120dB sound (on demand) as advertised (thankfully, as 120dB would be way too much) but rather 60db at 1m, which is perfect to find the nearby tag. Replaceable CR2032 battery, which mean i expect this product to last many years. I protected the one i put on my keychain in order to avoid wearing out the Chipolo case itself.

I wanted to use this specifically for an annual 9-day cycle touring event. I like the fact that the battery is easily replaceable, and you are not reliant on an external power source. Not so keen on the colour when you are trying to hide it on a bike. Probably not waterproof for that purpose either. I did not want to take the risk. However, inside luggage it is ideal. It has a loud buzzer, which is very useful when trying to find your bag amongst the other 3000 mostly identicle bags at the end of the day's bike ride. Can sometimes save an hour or more search time.
One of the locals, where I live, has put one on her dog as it has a habit of running off. The device is ideally shaped (and hole positioned) for that purpose, too. It looks like a large, oversized dog tag.
Already saved my. Airline lost luggage in transit. Because I had thrown in a Chipolo, I was always able to pinpoint it (sometimes even down to the luggage belt within an airport). And we knew when it was brought to us 2 days later.
Bought the 4 pack so we could track all of our luggage. Easy to set up, worked as described, tracked well. Good value, especially as you can replace the battery when needed unlike some others.
Ideally they would have been a multi-colour pack but we just put initials on them.
Helped me find my daughter's bag once already. They have also survived several accidental rounds in the washing machine already :)
I do wish I could share the location with more than just other devices that support the detection network. My wife's Android is too old and so I can't share the location of items with her.
I also wish I could see the location on a webinterface.
Felt like typical Apple tactics when they did that for airtag. Disappointed android has the same restrictions.
