I really wanted to like this but it’s awful. Really really hard to use, I can’t even figure out how to turn the sound off. So many buttons none of them intuitive. Spend the extra few dollars and get the Hatch.

Shuts off

I bought this roughly 3 months ago, the sound quality is not as good as other sound machines and it also now randomly shuts off at night. I have checked it to make sure the timer isn’t on or an alarm. Very frustrating.

Not durable for toddler use

Got this as a gift for my 3 yr old to have a when to wake clock. Thought the sound machine and Bluetooth would be great features. I couldn't get the Bluetooth to connect at all. It didn't come with a USB to outlet adapter like it said it should have in the pamphlet. My son promptly destroyed the mini USB cord end breaking it off into the machine. He then also threw it on the ground trying to turn it on, and that cracked the top casing. Now I put it in my 5 year olds room instead. I'm using a different USB cord but it won't keep power consistently, so the machine might already be broken... Also, since the Bluetooth won't connect, it feels pretty useless at this point. But, that might have been from the 3 yr old throwing it. Not durable/safe for toddlers rooms!! :(

Has to be plugged in to work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I’m not too impressed with this sound machine/clock. My biggest problem with it is that it has to be plugged in to work. The cord is extremely long, which is normally a great thing, but I don’t let my toddler have cords in his room so this is useless for me. The sound selection is fine, but it’s nothing too special. I would like to have more melodies to select from in addition to the various white noises. I feel white noises are more for babies than older kids. If you have older children this would be fine to use if you can figure it out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking for a sound machine for my bedroom, and am sooo happy with this one from Fridababy. I have gotten so used to having a sound machine from my first two babies, that I wanted one in my room when I had my son. We are currently transitioning him to his room and I hate having to move the sound machine, so this is a nice solution. There are not a ton of sounds to play; but what they do have are perfect. I love that you can set a timer for the sound option. I love that you can read the time on it, that it has a night light and I love even more that it has an alarm clock function. And if there’s not enough to love, there is a child lock on the bottom controls so your littles can’t change what you have programmed! I feel like this sound machine would transition well with your littles as they start going to school, you could have them start using the alarm clock. It has a sleep training function; but I have personally never used that option. I have used it more as a night light, which also has three different settings for whatever it is you’re trying to accomplish, changing diapers ect. There is also a Bluetooth setting which is fun to play audio books on or music. Great sound machine in a cute little package.

The sounds are so comforting and relaxing. Conveniently it also has a clock for those long nights you sit in the nursery feeding or rocking your little one.
