Who designed this????

Sure, the sound part works great. But the negatives outweigh the positives here. When this machine is low on battery, guess what? There is a little blue light that intensely blinks like a STROBE light, illuminating the whole room!!! It has woken up my baby many times! And guess what, there is no warning that the blue blinking light frenzy is about to start! And guess what else? When you start to charge it, the blue light will still blink (albeit more slowly) to indicate it's charging. We resorted to having it constantly plugged in, but the blue charging light will still occasionally turn on. It's unavoidable. We had to try to smother the light under a t-shirt, but it still shines through. Also, the buttons are invisible in the dark and they all feel the same. You have to memorize where each one is. Like I said, who designed this?? I'm guessing it was designed for daytime use only. The icing on the cake is that just today, after 5 months of use, now none of the buttons are working. It is stuck with the sound on. We can't turn it off, nor will the volume change. I guess it short circuited. We tossed it in the basement to die.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Flashing light issue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far we haven’t taken this out of the house but we’ve left it plugged in, in my daughters room for a week or two now. So far the sound has been perfect, and I like that the timer is optional so I can keep it on all night. A few times, the night light has turned on without anyone touching it but it hasn’t woken up my daughter so I can’t complain too much. But if she was tossing and turning it definitely would have been a problem, so that’s why I’m docking one star. Otherwise, it’s perfect!

Great portable sound machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this sound machine. I got it right before a camping trip and came in handy to drown out the noises from nearby partiers. I like the selection of sounds. The nature sounds and water sounds are my favorite. Since returning from camping I use this around the house wherever my baby happens to fall asleep. The nightlight gives some slight illumination. Helps me see what’s on my nightstand. And helps provide my toddler with some comforting light. I like the option for having the machine on a strap. Can dangle it from the car seat if going for a stroll. Only con is the buttons are impossible to see in the dark, even when the light is on the brightest setting. Perhaps next design they can illuminate where the buttons are. Other than that, nice sound machine that produces a good range of volume and sounds.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is so handy for my twins. I love that it is portable because they start off sleeping in their rooms but always end up in mine. I can easily grab it and go. We love the ocean waves and the light. It is perfect for our needs and convenient.

Love their products

I love how compact it is and can be placed on any small counter space without worry about disruption. The light is just bright enough and i keep it on all night on some nights. The sound machine works well at helping little ones get to bed and we use it about once a week.

2nd one has stopped after two uses

I bought this brand because my daughter-in-law had success with hers. The first one stopped after two uses and my DIL called Frida and they sent out a replacement, which was appreciated. This one died as well after two uses. I switched out charging units and plug ins, etc. on both.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
