This thing keeps dying after 2 weeks

This product has everything going for it but I’ve owned 4 now and they’ve all died after 2 weeks of use. We’ve never unplugged it or dropped it. It only run 8 hours at night. I want to love it, but why does it only last for 2 weeks?

I really want to love this product but..

I want to love this product for all the positive reasons people have described in the other reviews, however my issue is with the battery life and way it charges. So battery life is decent when it starts fully charged but there is no way to know the battery level status. It will run when plugged in but it’s not like a continuous charging it seems. I know this because it flashes a blue light when it’s plugged in and charging.. which is ridiculous feature when you consider this is designed for a sleeping baby. Last night, my machine had been plugged in and running for her first couple hours of sleep before my husband and I went to bed. When we go to bed we unplug it so the flashing light doesn’t inevitably wake baby or us during the night when it randomly wants to start charging. Some time in the night it just died and turned off, I’m guessing because it wasn’t fully charged despite being plugged in before I unplugged it. When baby woke up because the noise level of the room changed, I plugged it back in and tried turning it on — but then it had an even faster flashing blue light that was even more distracting. I just don’t understand this design feature or did I get a flawed product? So now it is off and plugged in, hoping it’s charging but have no way of knowing..

Product could use improvement

My wife and I have had our machine for about two months and for the second time in three weeks we’ve had the issue of the unit malfunctioning and not being able to be controlled by it’s buttons. The first time my wife had to let it die in order to be able to change the sound that was playing. Now I’ve turned the unit off, and it is unresponsive. Pushing the power button does not power the unit on. The light still works so we will let the light run until it dies again(no clue how long we’ll be out of a sound machine) and maybe we’ll have some luck.
I’m the future I would like to see the company address this issue and have a more reliable product.

Great except for flashing light

Love the pink noise and the night light feature. I use the night light for night feeds and the pink noise when traveling.
The flashing blue light is pretty bright and distracting while charging. I end up having to somehow hide the device to avoid having my baby get distract while being put to sleep. Hopefully in the future they can make the light red/not flashing to indicate that it’s charging.

I so badly want this product to work, but it just doesn’t. I have had two just completely crap out on me now. Doesn’t matter how long I charge it, nothing. If only it worked, it’s otherwise perfect for a traveling baby. Sigh.

Great except for charging light

There are many great things about this - size, shape, sounds, etc. but I echo others in the issues with the charging light flashing and the buttons being so small and hard to figure out in the middle of the night. The charging light blinking is a major issue for how often it needs charged (once a day in my family).

Less Screaming!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a miracle device for me. My 8 month old grandson lives with us and I babysit him while his mother is at work. I have a playpen in the living room and that's where he naps. When someone talks too loud, he wakes up and wants to be a nosey rosy and has to know what's going on and he's so miserable when someone wakes him up and all he wants to do is cry. I was trying everything to keep the room quiet while he's sleeping but the other kids and up getting loud and wake him up. The first day I got this sound machine, I set it up at the outside bottom corner of the playpen and thankfully, it has the birds chirping sound like his rocker had when he was sleeping in that. It's been working great. It's loud enough to muffle the other kids and he has been sleeping for 2 hours at a time. The quality of this sound machine is great. It's well made, has a very loud speaker that is adjustable, and has 5 different sounds. The following are the sounds that are on the device: Heartbeat, Rain, Waves, Chirping birds and someone saying Shhhh. The only sound I don't like is the shhh. It's very annoying. Other than that, the other sounds are calming and relaxing. It has a soft strap that you can connect to hang it on a crib or playpen and when it's not hanging, the strap wraps around the box and looks like a border. I have included a photo of the strap. The night light has 3 different brightness options. I keep it on the low light setting. It's enough to light up the area around the playpen and not bother the baby. It comes with a USB charger and it's very simple to use. I couldn't be happier with a sound machine and I would most definitely recommend it to anyone that has little one's that are easily disturbed by any noise while they are sleeping.

Blinking. Charging. Light.

I bought this three months ago. I love everything about it except for one flaw. This one flaw is big enough I’d recommend going with another sound machine while you still can. This sound machine lasts for 12 hours. Which means between naps and bedtime (totaling 13-17 hours for first few months) it needs to be charged from time to time. As a new mom I’m always exhausted and my brain is forgetfully and I often don’t remember to put it in a charger until the next nap time or bed time. The blinking light when it’s charging lights up the whole room. And you can’t even cover it with a band aid or piece of tape because it is bright enough it makes the whole thing light up. And if I hide it… then it’s not loud enough. I understand a charging light and if this was any random product I would understand the inconvenience. However this was made by a company that is specifically handling things for babies and parents and this (in my opinion) is way too much of an oversight given your one goal is to help babies! Please remake this product without the blinking light. In the mean time I will not recommend this product and will be getting something new myself.
