Hi Michele - the CrossWave formula is specially formulated for use in the CrossWave machine. We don't recommend using other cleaning products in the CrossWave or it could result in damage to the machine.

I absolutely love this product as not only does it smell wonderful with with clean fresh smell of febreze, it really masks the odor of wet and less than fresh dogs. The Bissell products have always been wonderful, but the Multi-Surface Pet cleaner keeps my tile and laminate floors spotless, no little dog or kitten paw prints remain. Between the Crosswave and the Bissell multi surface surface cleaner, I am a happy camper!
