Too early to report on the various options

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My biggest complaint is common to most appliances these days.... you get a generic user guide (if you get one at all) that applies to multiple models and it doesn't really specify WHICH features apply to your model and it tends to cater to the model with the most features, so there is an element of guessing, trial and error, regarding control options and use
In use, I'm comparing it to a very old...25 years plus...Magic Chef that had become very noisy, racks falling apart and cleaning was hit and miss.
In Normal Cycle on Max Heat, the Frigidaire cleaning cycle ran 2-1/2 hours.... seems really long to me to be EnergyStar efficient, but maybe that's normal for modern dishwashers. My old one ran less than an hour on the Max cleaning/ heating cycle. Its definitely quieter but sill louder than i had hoped, when you're in the same room. It cleaned and dried very well, no spots, without even using a rinse aid.
I will try to use the 1 HOUR cycle option next time, which oddly uses a little more water than the normal cycle, according to the user guide?? I'll be happy if the 1 hour cycle suffices for the smaller, not heavily soiled loads i usually run, and only use the normal cycle for dinner party hosting. One observation is there seems to be a lot of moisture remaining in the unit even after the max heat drying completed. A little concerned as to how that will play out long term with moisture trapped in there, since I only run my dishwasher once or twice a month! May have to leave the door ajar for a day or 2 to let it air dry.
Attractive unit, was easy to install and adjust, bigger capacity than my old one with some nice, sensible rack accessories. Overall pleased so far.

Really great dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my old dishwasher broke down, my first instinct was to call for appliance repair, but then realized that a new dishwasher would be less expensive. This dishwasher is an under counter control. The dishes come out clean every time even when they sit in the dishwasher for a few days waiting for a full load. I’m very happy with it.
