This is a very bare-bones dishwasher. After some research, we purchased this model based on price and the claim that is was one of the quietest models available. The price was good, but that claim cannot be true. This dishwasher is louder than the 25-year-old model it replaced. It also came with significantly less sound insulating material than our previous dishwasher. If you're looking for a simple, but noisy, dishwasher this one will do. If you need more features, or a very quiet appliance, get a different model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought this to replace a Bosch that we'd previously puschased 2nd hand. So much happier with the tray layout, the capacity and the standard features on this dishwasher. Great value for the money.
