It was so easy and first time I used it. Now we use it everyday and it’s very simple.

Only one month but fantastic so far!

We have had the dishwasher for a month. Observations are:
-Very quiet operation. Our family can easily chat or watch TV while the dishwasher runs.
-We rinse dishes and scrape scraps of food into the garbage. We have been using the one hour wash and dishes are sparkling clean. Even egg left for a day in the dishwasher came off.
-Dishes are coming out dry but the walls of the dishwasher are wet. I leave the door slightly ajar to air dry the inside of the dishwasher.
-one con is the buttons. The start button can be slightly stubborn and sometimes I need to press it a couple of times. Makes me worry a bit about this button’s ability to function years from now.

Hissing sound is typically for water valve sound, which is the first sound you will hear from the dishwasher, which means that water is going through the valve. Whooshing is for the spray arms switching back and forth from bottom to top, and the sound changes when this occurs, which is normal. The humming sound is either when the wash pump starts and stops and the arms alternate, or when the drain pump is steady at first but fluctuates when all the water is pumped out. The clunking sound is caused by the detergent dispenser ball valve.

Excellent basic model

Replaced an 14yr old GE dishwasher with this Frigidaire dishwasher. Its been excellent so far. Incredibly quiet!!

Does the Job

I have had this product about one month. I don't have an issue with the way it works though the start button sometimes seems to be a little finicky, the dishes come out clean. I do not like the way the racks are designed on the bottom. I am unable to put 2 plates in grooves beside each other because the will tip forward and touch each other, so we end up having to put them in every other space which is not very efficient. The other thing i'm not fond of is the dark interior although I know that seems to be the way they are now but the problem we had with our last one was mildew developing and with the dark interior it would be very difficult to see the mildew. I guess or the price it is a good unit, but if I was spending alot more I would definitely test the rack loading. We had a Frigidaire Gallery prior to this, and I guess it was just a step up so had better racks.
