ALWAYS a strong soap smell in "clean" dishes

We've been using this DW for the last 4 months (It came with our new house). Unfortunately, no matter what DW soap (and amount) we use, there is always a strong soap smell in the "clean" dishes. This model does not have an extra rinse option, so we are about to replace this new DW.

Nice affordable dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Due to budget constraints I had to buy a lower end dishwasher. This was a good choice. The bottom rack is deep enough to fit any of my plates and platters which is a.big thing for me. I would prefer a stainless steel tub instead of this plastic one, But I knew what I was getting and hopefully it will last a long time. It is a bit louder than I expectedl when running, but gets the job done beautifully.

Got the floor model so it came with dents but nothing that we didn't know when we bought it.
Great little appliance so far.

Our Frigidaire Dishwasher Experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A while back when a plumber was installing new hardware for our kitchen sink, he turned and asked us “why do you have this ancient dishwasher”? It still worked so we had to go to the store to see why it was “ancient”.
We tend to be loyalists. But we decided to try Frigidaire for the first time and we are enjoying the “experience”. Frigidaire’s black color is different - nice and soft and modern. And it’s been fun getting used to the inside of the dishwasher also being black in color.
