[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second ThinkPad X1 Carbon, my first lasted me seven years and still runs fine (with some battery life issues starting to show, but that's to be expected at this age of the machine). Upgraded to the new generation for the increased RAM and storage, feels and looks the same, a classic.

Haven't had long enough but so far I like it. The only thing I did NOT like was initial setup and seeming to HAVE to have a Microsoft account or create one. It was confusing but I did get it figured out ... thanks to google! I had a 15" laptop before and wasn't sure I'd like this smaller version but I actually like the fact it's more lightweight and works well.
