[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice machine, plenty of power and speed. The housing is very plastic feeling, no metal on sides or top. I have an older ultrabook that has a more solid feel as there is metal in most of the top/bottom etc.
This machine will not travel as much so I do not think it will be an issue.

Stay away from this laptop. The processor speed does not match up with what's advertised. The battery life is poor...perhaps 4 hours despite what's advertised. The machine is sluggish. I reached out to Lenovo for help and have received "0" responsive emails. This was supposed to be a work laptop to replace my HP that I had for 3 years but my HP works just as well as this brand new T16.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
