[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great performance and nice ergonomics on this -- I usually hate typing on a laptop keyboard but this one feels really comfortable and the viewing angles and hinge versatility are next level. The 32GB of RAM is very nice for running a virtual machine and the laptop is very responsive.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] External mouse not synching up; microphone briefly worked. Perhaps this product will improve but as now making work extremely difficult
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Decent laptop - Slightly overpriced though for what I get. The performance isn’t as great as I would expect for such an expensive laptop. Same with the graphics.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Lenovo ThinkPad, the first one I purchased in 2018 and it is still working perfect. I had to upgrade because sunsetting of Windows 10. I firmly belive my old ThinkPad will work another 5 years without issue. It is being moved to the streaming system only now in an RV. This new ThinkPad is working just as well as the first did without issue and no frustration. The setup went smooth the transfer of data was simple and everything is running great. The Warranty is worth every penny but I don't actually think I will need ever need to use it. I will stick with Lenovo ThinkPad Carbon's as long as they are being manufactured they are the best for their price IMO. The IT team at my day job purchases this exact model for all new hires and all replacement systems. Having this system work amazingly well for 5+ years is not unusual.
I purchased this laptop to use for remote work. I'm an independent consultant and sometimes clients do not provide me with a laptop to do the work, so I need to have a good laptop with a fast enough processor to support virtual meeting software and business applications. The ports support connecting to two monitors, and I could probably do 3 with an external adapter, but I don't need to do that. It comes with Windows 11 which has been easy to use. I was previously using an older version of Windows. This new version automates a lot of the login and connectivity to Microsoft applications, which makes it MUCH EASIER to access all of the tools I need to do my work.
