[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great laptop, lightweight, tough and versatile. Good battery life allows for on the go work without the need to plug in.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I spent a lot of time researching laptops before deciding on the ThinkPad X1 Carbon, and I'm very happy with my decision. I wiped it and installed Linux (an Ubuntu fork), and it's been fantastic. I was concerned about switching from Windows to Linux, but so far there are only two niche programs that I've still needed Windows for, and so I just run Windows in a VM when I need them - and that's worked flawlessly as well.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for my son's high school classes, especially his AV Tech class that he has to run Adobe Premiere Pro. This laptop has all the processing power and features I was looking for. My only wish is that it came with a microSD card slot (I thought it did but found out it was a nanoSIM instead which I don't think we'll ever use). Great system!
Battery life is terrible. I only get about 3 hours of life.
