[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 11 Intel (14”) is a steady laptop that allows me to carry out all necessary functions as a full time college student. This laptop has a reliable battery life and ample storage, allowing me to download software and tools for school as well as personal endeavors.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great performance and nice ergonomics on this -- I usually hate typing on a laptop keyboard but this one feels really comfortable and the viewing angles and hinge versatility are next level. The 32GB of RAM is very nice for running a virtual machine and the laptop is very responsive.

I purchased this laptop to use for remote work. I'm an independent consultant and sometimes clients do not provide me with a laptop to do the work, so I need to have a good laptop with a fast enough processor to support virtual meeting software and business applications. The ports support connecting to two monitors, and I could probably do 3 with an external adapter, but I don't need to do that. It comes with Windows 11 which has been easy to use. I was previously using an older version of Windows. This new version automates a lot of the login and connectivity to Microsoft applications, which makes it MUCH EASIER to access all of the tools I need to do my work.
