Customers have complained about previous X1 Carbon models getting extremely hot after 30-40 minutes of use, but I've had no such feedback on this 14" version.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the features of the X1 Carbon and have always loved the ThinkPad keypads. My previous ThinkPad had an OLED screen that was beautiful. I didn't see that as an option with the X1 Carbon and purchased it with the IPS screen. Maybe I've been spoiled by the OLED screen of my previous Thinkpad, but I was seriously underwhelmed by the screen on the X1 Carbon. I returned it for that reason.
