I was a little weary at first because my existing laptop worked great, but the additional of more hard drive space and a little processor boost is definitely worthwhile. I use this mainly for app development work so any bump saves me time day after day. I love the light weight of this model, but it's a tad larger in size than the other. The full-size keyboard is also appreciated - it's not like some other laptops where it's a pain to use.

Defective and needed onsite repair within one week

Arrived with a defective screen and Lenovo would not authorise a replacement so I had to schedule an onsite repair as the other option was a refund and waiting for the laptop to be available again in a month or so, but no longer at the same price - much higher. Started off on the wrong foot!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
