[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an older computer (not Lenovo) which has continuously gotten slower over time. It was time for an upgrade so I did extensive research and made the decision to purchase the Lenovo X1 Carbon. From startup to running multiple programs I am working faster than I ever have. I have recommended to our IT department to replace the entire teams computers with the same one that I purchased.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am trying the ThinkPad X1 primarily because of device issues on my fairly new Dell XPS 13.
The Dell kept losing its audio (and sometimes video) devices when using Microsoft Teams or/and Zoom. For my business, this messed-up far too many important meetings. I decided to try the ThinkPad since I had previous success with those devices.
So far, the X1 has had no device issues and runs cooler than the XPS 13. Honestly, I am not sure the performance is significantly different, but that wasn't a problem
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This computer is worth every penny. It is lightweight, portable and fast. I currently use it for school and work everyday. I would recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade their machine.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The computer is working great, and I love how portable it is. I have been using it for a few months now, and while the battery life is not super strong it charges extremely fast. I definitely recommend for students and those working on the go.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My previous X1 was a 5th gen thats still usable after 7 years, so that gives you an idea of how sturdy and reliable these devices are. Perfect size & weight, great performance, Lenovo Vantage app is actually useful (as opposed to bloatware). Recommended.
