[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a refurbished laptop, with a significant price reduction, yet it feels like a new machine. It's very powerful, hard drive (1TB) and RAM (32 GB DDR5), combined with i7 CPU feel extremely powerful, and screen and speakers are notably better than in the previous thinkpads I owned.
The only weakness is relatively average battery life (4-6 hours) when working relatively normal tasks, even on the efficiency mode. This is something that can perhaps be improved through software updates.
I would definitely recommend this purchase, I am certainly very happy with it so far.
The Lenovo X1 offers portability with power. I needed a laptop that is both light and powerful. Most of the time it is docked, running my whole office; however, I wanted the same power on the go. This is the third X1 that I have purchased over the past decade. It is also the number one machine that I recommend to friends and professionals. My favorite feature is its light weight.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the size and weight. I use a docking station to power 2 external monitors, I wish the power button was on the outside like it is on my X1 Yoga because I have to open the computer to turn it on and then close the lid.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 3rd or 4th X1 Carbon. I have high expectations and this one, like the others, have not disappointed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Meeting all my needs plus more. This is my daily driver, travel companion, and work horse. Everything I’ve thrown at it, no issues. I will be buying again.
