[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an excellent computer. I have owned a few earlier variants of the Carbon laptop through work and just bought this one for personal use. It is reliable, fast, easy to set up and lightweight.

I have had a ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 7 as well as a ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 10. Now I have a ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 11. While my earlier laptops were solid laptops, they were not nearly as complete as my current one. Add to this some amazing company support and you have an unbeatable product!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Negatives - why they have Fn and Ctrl buttons in opposite place is beyond me. You can make then function opposite (normal) but the keys are forever labeled wrong. SO ANNOYING!!
Boots slower than at least the Yoga line, Fingerprint reader not work so well. Gets slightly warm but its so thin probably to be expected. Most annoying thing of all. display automatically dims, too dim, then gets real bright after 5 seconds or so. does this as web page changes etc so constantly! IDK how to get it to stop but its the worst!
The good - Lightweight and portable make it awesome for people on the go. Battery not bad with IPS display. Mine has i7 w/ 32 GB RAM so it has more power than needed. I really want to love this laptop but the screen dimming and getting bright make me want to throw it out a window.
I would recommend this to a friend!
