[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a 16” Lenovo Thinkpad and after 4 months it would not power up. I loved it except that it was a little heavy, and the battery only lasted 4 hours.
I bought the Lenovo Carbon X1 14” and it is so light. It feels very solid and is very responsive. It is small enough for me to take it to work, travel and conferences. The battery lasts longer so I don't have to carry my charging cords.
Setting up the computer and warranty was easy to do and user-friendly. The screen is sharp with good color range.
The only thing is some of my designer apps require a larger screen - I would like to see this computer offered as a 16-inch.
It does get VERY hot when rapid charging. So much so that I can't continue using it. But it does charge quickly.
Great computer at a good price point. I am looking forward to using it for years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great feel and sturdy, high material quality. ough, powerful laptop full of features Powerful but very portable laptop. I got mine with a 5G capability for when I travel. It was easy to activate with the E-Sim. This computer is built tough, I love the Windows Hello capability so I can sign in with the front camera only. I got a 1TB SSD drive and 32Gb RAM, along with the advanced VPro i7 processor to make sure it will serve me well for years to come. The 14” size is perfect for travel, and the 5G service has already come in handy when my Internet provider was down for hours. I still had the ability to get online and do work. I love the tough Lenovos, and highly recommend them
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seems to be a very well built computer. The keyboard is quite satisfying. The size is ideal. Light and thin for a 14" laptop. The camera is good as are the ports. I read a number of reviews on reddit and other places that mentioned thermal issues, fan noise and short battery life which had me quite worried. However I have not had any of these problems. In fact, if the fan ever runs, it must be quieter than the air conditioning because I've never heard it. Everything works as intended. Microphone and speakers are quite good for video conferencing. My spec'ed up model, with the i7, 1tb and 32gb of ram obviously handles my typical multitasking workload (Teams, edge, chrome, excel, word, onenote, outlook and monday.com app) without breaking a sweat. Admittedly the version I got is probably overkill for my use case, but I don't regret the purchase. I would definitely recommend this computer.
