[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Computer has been very good in first few weeks of use. Happy with performance. Very light but still seems solid overall. Only complaint is the location of the Fn and Ctrl keys are in the opposite place of every other computer keyboard including my old Lenovo. It is driving me crazy with the number of times I have incorrectly used the Ctrl-C or other Ctrl key combinations because I actually hit Fn-C. I'm learning to compensate but not sure why Lenovo made the change.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent little laptop. Very capable and versatile as well as small enough to take anywhere without being too small. Very pleased with the ThinkPad.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shipment wasn't on time. Laptop keeps beeping with no applications and notifications on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 11 after using a loaner from our IT company after an office fire. I had already been shopping around for a laptop and was pretty sold on a ThinkPad but wishing I would be able to "test drive" one. I consider the fact that our IT company uses Lenovo exclusively for their clients a silver lining to the fire at my office. I was able to test out an older model and fell in love. When I came time for me to finally order one for myself, my choice was a no brainer.
I took awhile for me to get used to the newest version of Windows but I love the operating capabilities of my new laptop. It's quick, easy to use, and has everything I need to work from anywhere. It's small and SO LIGHT.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used ThinkPad X1 for almost 5 years from work and was very happy with the performance and its ruggedness.
So when I retired, I bought latest X1 Gen11 with 32 GB and 1TB SSD. I know this will last me at least another 10 years, if not till end of my life!
