This is my first experience with a Thinkpad and I must say the build quality of the Thinkpad is the best I have had. I use the Thinkpad for daily tasks including web browsing, programming, and most importantly editing photos in Lightroom and Photoshop. The photo editing speed is amazing.

I'm moving from a 2019 Lenovo laptop that has been 'frankensteined' by an ssd harddrive and 16 gb RAM when the original harddrive crashed. It won't work with Windows 11. Speakers are a joke. At 100 % volume can barely hear. Spent one hour with Microsoft and another hour with Lenovo and couldn’t fix. Returned laptop. Also Windows11 is a pain compared to 10 in my opinion. So much junk you need to turn off. Also I don’t want any of my data and info stored on the cloud. My Lenovo E580 is a better machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
