Useful and convenient

In addition, I like to use this for hotpot at home with a big family. It heats up the food pretty quickly. This is also convenient to have at home in case there's no gas or electricity and you can still cook!

A necessity for every home!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Cuisinart Portable Butane Camping Stove is a necessity for every home. When we had a power outage that lasted a couple of days, we used this camping stove to do all of our cooking. With 8000 BTUs of power, family meals are prepared in no time as it cooks just about anything that you can think of. Butane canisters are readily available at local markets and are very inexpensive. We stock up on these butane canisters at our house just in case our power goes out and we need to use the portable stove to cook. I am a firm believer that every family needs to have a back up method of cooking, just in case. Not only is this portable stove great as part of your emergency supply kit, but it's also great for family outtings. Carrying case included for easy transportation. Whether it's a picnic at the park or camping in the woods, meals are ready at the turn of the dial.

Perfect burner

Compact stove.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used our new Cuisinart Portable Butane Camping Stove a couple of times now and really like it! The compact little stove measures around 14” x 11” x 3” and can accommodate pots and pans from 5” to 10” in diameter. This stove uses an 8 ounce butane canister which is housed in a compartment that is accessed by a hinged door and locked into place with a lever mechanism on the front. There is also a little catch which holds the canister in place during use. The burner is lit by an igniter which is triggered using the main temperature control (also on the front). The stove can provide up to 8000 BTUs of cooking power and can run for over an hour on a single cannister. This is a great little piece of camping gear and comes with a sturdy plastic case which makes it easy to pack!
