Neat phone, battery needs to be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was most interested in the foldability feature of this phone.
Phones just keep getting bigger and bigger and harder and harder for people with smaller set hands to hold onto it or put it away in pockets or bags.
My favorite feature is the folding. I can just flip it closed and toss it in my pocket to go run errands. No need to worry about it falling out of my pocket and smashing on the concrete because it doesn't fit or having to haul a bag or purse just to carry it. I sometimes toss it in a bag if I need to take other things and lose the phone in it because it's so small when folded but I love that it actually FITS in my purse again and I can carry other things besides just the phone in it again.
My least favorite feature is the battery life. This battery is a LOT less than my previous phone battery. If it's a full charge at 6am for work, it will be around 20% by 4pm when I get off work and have errands to run before dinner. If I forget an extra charger pack or cord, it'll be dead by dinnertime.
I love the size of this phone, but it would be great to not have to compromise battery life and performance for comfortability in my hand.

Fantastic phone! slight kinks to work out

The flip function allows me to fit the phone into smaller pockets while maintaining function. Having a small screen on the front enables me to see notifications and use my phone without the need to open and fully use it. On top of that the galaxy AI is a huge improvement over bixby and helps with much more than simple tasks.
A software issue that I've found is that the screen sometimes takes a minute to respond but this does not seem phone specific.

90's nostalgic feeling

I love the features and aspects of this device. I love the camera too.
Very fast and meets my everyday needs. Also with the new Galaxy AI is like a whole new game changer!

Great features , battery life not so great

Cool design , but the only thing I don't like is the battery life . I use this phone for work so gets lots of use daily .and gets used alot . Hope they make a flip that has better battery life .

Love this phone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am 100% loving the Z Flip 5! I was worried it might be more fragile since the screen flips open and shut, but I haven't noticed that at all! It's small and compact and fits in my pocket, but then it opens up to be a full sized phone! I can use the front screen (while the phone is closed) to see navigation, make calls, and take pictures! I can partially open the phone so it stands on its own while I watch videos! I'm just now starting to use Galaxy AI, but I'm so excited to learn more about it! If you want a state-of-the-art smart phone, but miss flip phones, This is the phone for you!

Great concept, 0% durability

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased the phone in October, by June of the following year the connection to charge the phone malfunctioned resorting to a charging pad to charge the device. Two months later the screen went blank rendering the phone entirely useless.
