Fun and compact

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a good phone and I like it better than I thought I would. But it does have a few issues. It struggles when transitioning from data to wifi and I need to reboot the phone a few times a day. Surprisingly, you don't notice the fold in the screen when it's open. I tend to leave it open most of the time as well.

Almost perfect but not quite

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not long ago after the Samsung Z Flip 5 was released i traded in my iphone 13 pro max and to and switched back to Android after being a Apple person after the iphone 15 came iut enough was enough nothing changed I decided to switch and after i did I never even missed my iphone and i was learning new tricks every day and I got the Z flip 5 mostly because of the portability and the front Screen i love it but the only gripe about it i have is the Battery Life

Flip5 replaces my Note20

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was reluctant to switch from my Note20 with the greater camera zoom capabilities, and the stylus that I used for work. The Flip5 has been producing very good photos for starters. I am also able to still work a MS Exel spreadsheet for work. The absolute greatest part is the folded size is so much more convenient for carry and fits all my pockets. The large preview screen works so well I rarely need to open the phone. The capabilities of the preview screen seem to be unlimited. I love this phone and don't miss the Note20 as much as really liked it.

My Z Flip 5

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband got me the Z Flip 5 for my birthday a few months ago. I was happy with my Galaxy A42 model I had before. I use it mainly for calls and texts, YouTube and Netflix. I pay most of my bills as well on it. So I have many apps. I do like the size of it. Fits anywhere easily.
I wish there were more apps that you could use on the cover screen. I dislike not having a slot for an SD card. Overall I enjoy the phone. I would have gone with the Z Fold 5 but I tend to put my phone in my pocket for work and that would have been too big. I love having my phone show the notifications of my other Samsung products.

A terrific revision to a solid device.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Though foldable remain a niche product, Samsung continues to push the envelope and try new things. I had a Flip 3 and really liked it, but the cover screen was still too limiting bc of the size. I waited a while till getting the Flip 5 and for now am very pleased. The overall functionality is terrific and the new cover screen really changes the usability of the device. It's only been a few weeks, but the phone is fast, doesn't get too hot, and still turns heads. My biggest concern remains the smallish battery, same size as prior Gen. I do sit at a desk most of the time, have Qi charging in my car, so it really isn't an issue; but I still worry. Anyway, for Sammy fans who are tired of the candy bar style and don't want to carry a huge Ultra in their pocket, it's a winner. Certainly not their most powerful handset, but I live on my phones and really like it.
