Buyer Beware! Tall Side Sleepers stay away!

I bought this pillow about a week ago on the reviews and the descriptions provided by Casper.
The snow technology of the pillow does work and is the reason I will give Casper 2 stars. I own a Casper bed as well an would give it 5 stars.
However, the description of this pillow being suited for all sleep types is deceptive and misleading. After one night of sleeping on the pillow I immediately had back pain. I tried it for two more nights and exactly the same. After returning to my original pillow the back pain was relieved. The Loft of the pillow is too low for a side sleeper (at least one over 6'3"). This result in misalignment of the spine and neck and inevitably the lower back pain. I have provide images to demonstrate the Loft deficiency of their pillow.
To make matters worst Casper is unwilling to work with customers to rectify the situation. I know have 2 King Pillows that will never be used because they do not meet the descriptions and suggestions provided by Caper. In addition, Casper is unwilling to rectify the situation even though their description of the product is misleading. I encourage anyone looking at these or any Casper pillows to use caution as the company will not stand by their product.

I was in the market for a new pillow and picked up this magical cloud. I had the BEST sleep and my neck wasn’t tight or messed up when I woke up! Best pillow for side sleepers! (I’m a long time Casper user—I have the OG mattress from back in 2016 & it’s still doing it’s job!)

The cooling effect is fantastic, the price is definitely not

Caspers hybrid pillows are the "Goldilocks" of their line of pillows. Not too firm, like the full foam pillow. Not too soft, like the essential cooling pillow. Just the right amount of support and comfort. The snow technology itself is great! It keeps cool long enough to get me to sleep and stays cool enough that I'm not waking up to flip it.
However, I'm a little disappointed by the differences between this and the original hybrid pillow. The snow version is not as plush in the middle and therefore doesn't have as much support. I put the snow cover on my original hybrid and it feels great but the cooling effect doesn't last as long. The cooling effect may have something to do with the thickness so it's understandable but I personally prefer the original hybrid. The blue of the pillow cover is also a minor annoyance. It shows throw my white silk pillowcases. The price difference is kind of ridiculous. I wouldn't say it's worth the full price or even 25% off the full price. Not to mention it's not machine washable so product care, i.e. dry cleaning could be costly. Hopefully Casper will start to sell just the zippered pillow cover with snow technology so you can customize your other Casper pillows!
(Mine also came with a hole in it where the stuffing was coming out. This doesn't really affect my rating just kind of annoying given the price)

Pretty Goood

Compared to a standard pillow, this one is pretty good. The loft and firmness are just right for a side sleeper like me. Very comfy. The cooling feature is mostly a gimmick. Cooling is very noticeable and effective for about 5 minutes. Feels nice and cool. But after about 5 minutes the cooling effects is gone. 12 hours is nonsense, borders on false advertising.

Where's the rest of the pillow and what's with the blue?

While the pillow's comfort is exceptional, I'm disappointed by the blue color and the size. The blue coloring comes through Casper’s white pillowcases and the pillow is noticeably a smaller size when compared to a standard king pillow. The size is most apparent when you put it into regular king pillow cases where it can't fill the pillowcase in length or volume.
With several Casper mattresses, nearly a dozen Casper pillows and multiple sets of Casper sheets, I remain surprised how off the quality mark this pillow is for Casper. If the pillow was the appropriate and it was provided with a white cover that allowed it to be neutral in color, the pillow would correct both of these comments and make this a 10-star pillow.

Smells strongly of chemicals right out of the bag. I reached out to support and that does not fall under their warranty or return policy. If you suffer from any type of allergy or Asthma do not purchase any of the products that include foam. Horrible support and empathy from company! I love my original Casper pillow and hate that I tried something new.

Good idea, wish it was a lot thicker

I bought this pillow with a Casper mattress and hoped that it would help with my sleeping hot issues. Unfortunately, this pillow is very thin and I’m a side sleeper and need something that is quite a bit thicker. I’ve been using it for the past couple months, and while I like the cooling sensation, the thinness is really what causes me to have Pain when I wake up. The cooling sensation is immediate, but it will wear off obviously after a couple minutes. I have been going back to my thicker, Talalay latex pillow and finding that I’m able to fall asleep and wake up much more refreshed
