Really wanted to love this

To preface, I’m usually a UAG lover and also have the last iteration of the active strap.
So the first design decision goof with this strap is the bent buckle changes the angle of how you need to pull to tighten. The older version is simply a pull and press to secure. With this one, you need to use a finger to secure against the buckle so that the strap actually pulls through and is able to be secured. No biggie but annoying to get used to.
My second complaint of this strap is that if it’s for the ultra, why does it say “50 meters” on the side when the ultra is rated for 100? The dive computer EN13319 is rated for 40 meters which is the closest I can imagine but even then, 50 meter diving is an overshoot and would start to make issues for the ultra. Why???
The third issue I have is is that this strap is too long. I wish I could elaborate with an imperial measurement but the last strap was a little shorter and fit better. This strap uses a different type of hook and loop to secure than the older version and with the added length, the section closest to the end of the strap doesn’t find itself able to secure and thus flops around when I really want the ultra to be ultra secure when I’m at the gym.
The fourth issue is more on me but I’ve been burning the loose ends that come off the older strap because nylon is jus that way. And when I did that with this strap I accidentally got too close to the rows of loops the hooks secure to and they burned in an ugly pattern. It happened while this strap was fairly new and kinda made me sad that I paid full price for this.
Finally, I’m not the type to critique without suggestions so if it were my strap I was selling, go back to the straight buckle, make the writing accurate for the ultra it’s sold for, and take a half inch or so off the total length because the new material is stretchy anyways. Or offer different sizes. I don’t see how anyone with smaller wrists than me could wear this. I’m sure of my wrist size in inches or centimeters but I do know I wear a size 6 for the official solo loop.
Until these issues are fixed I can’t recommend and I’m not even wearing it as I type this.

Large wrists sizes only

Bad is made well but only for people with large wrists, anyone with sm/med wrists should not order this as you will not be able to make it snug.

Great Quality but Too Small

Great quality product. Well constructed and good materials. But I am a big dude and the watch bands i ordered were too small. The velcro band barely stretched around my wrist and did not have a good hold. The other band was really tight and uncomfortable.
