Ok dishwasher

This dishwasher is such a disappointment from my last GE profile dishwasher. The drawers seem flimsy and have been rearranged to not hold as many dishes as our old dishwasher. Also the wheels on the lower rack keep falling off and I don’t see any advantage to having a smart dishwasher. It seems flimsy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall, this is a fine dishwasher. However, my everyday soup/salad bowls do not fit in the main upper rack securely. I have to precariously balance them so that they are not nested. The uppermost utensil rack is not deep enough to hold my larger cooking utensils; however if it were deeper, it would interfere with the main upper rack. It is VERY quiet. I like the spray jets under the bottom utensil carrier rack. I pre-rinse all my dishes because I only use the dishwasher about once per week. Food would end up smelling if I did not pre-rinse.

To get dishes properly dried, I find I must use the sani setting and a boost setting. That makes it run for about 3 1/2 hours so not energy efficient. Also, I don't love the dish racks, top and bottom, and how the dishes & glasses line up in them. The very top narrow rack is pretty useless and the bottom rack has wasted space.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cognitive Engineering at its finest!

The app/wifi connectivity is very useful. The overall build quality and cognitive engineering that went into the bottle washers, three racks, utensil rack, user interface, etc. is noticeable. Massive capacity is very helpful and dries dishes to perfection.
