Great mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was a worthwhile purchase. My mixer has five speeds, and while it's not overly fast, it's perfectly adequate for my needs, such as making muffins. It's helped me stay within budget, so I can upgrade to better equipment later when I'm ready.

Good Choice But Unnecessarily Complicated

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mixer seems sturdy and I especially appreciate that it is not unnecessarily heavy. However, I continue to wonder why older appliances such as my GE hand mixer that was given to me 50 years ago and still works beautifully except for its frayed nonreplaceable cord were even lighter and easier to use. I struggled a little to line up the KitchenAid blades to get them inserted, and to eject the second one required a hard press with two thumbs. My GE glades just pop in and out with no effort. I think companies often overdo it in trying to make something seem more fancy when we just need a simple, reliable appliance that is easy to use while getting the job done.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Minimal power

I bought this for my daughter last year and used it at her house 2 days ago. It has very little power. Motor struggled mixing soft butter, sugar and flour. Will sell on Facebook marketplace. Hopefully 7-speed I just bought her will be better otherwise that goes back too.

Bought this to replace the exact same model that I have had for over 15 years. The new one feels light and chintzy - I don't bake as much as I used to but.....we'll see. I am expecting it will probably break long before my old one gave up the ghost!
