[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit I received was defective (would not power unless A/C adapter was plugged in, and yes, I charged the battery) Lucky Lenovo made it right and refunded my money, which I later used to purchase an 7i Pro. No issues with second order.

Burns your fingers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Still experiencing cooling issues. Theres a flaw with the keyboard that blows hot air upwards at your fingers when using WASD keys. It litteraly burns your fingers.. The same issue was present with the 2021/2022 Legion 5 and it appears to be continuing with the 2023 models.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Powerful Laptop with great built in applications. It can handle most anything I put in its path. I use it for a mix of gaming, learning and hosting practice virtual machines. The only complainant I have so far is the battery life leaves something to be desired. For me, it has not been and issue. I primarily use it as an at home workstation, and if i need a laptop for when I am out and about i have Lenovo Yoga that i love.
If you are looking to buy a powerful laptop the Legion Pro 5i is a great choice, it has the ability to be upgraded later on and is easy to overclock if you desire to do so. It has loads of build in functionality to change setting to preserve battery life or increase performance. I am giving 4 stars because of the battery life but i guess i should have expected that from a laptop with a decent graphics card.

Love this laptop! Great image quality and audio quality. Nice large screen and comfortable keyboard. The backlight is nice too. I mostly keep it at blue. It’s great for gaming and whenever I’m using Word.
